Why support ArtServe?
Because the arts are not just on a stage or in a museum. They are not a luxury. The arts are music, movies, books, furniture & auto design, and so much more. The arts are for everyone - from school children, to thirty-somethings, to seniors - no matter your background or where you live.
At ArtServe, we believe, and many studies have proven, that a strong cultural community is essential for:

ArtServe Michigan is a statewide organization that builds support for the arts, artists, arts education, and cultural activities. We champion the arts across the state through advocacy and education programming and services to individual artists and cultural organizations. ArtServe Michigan doesn’t produce artwork, that is best left to artists and cultural organizations. However, ArtServe works to support those artists and organizations by increasing cultural audiences, linking businesses and the arts, and standing up for arts in education and state arts funding.

Is Art Serve going to continue to send email announcements,to artists that are listed with Art Serve? Such as opportunities for artists? I have not received one since Neeta came on board. The mailings kept me informed of up coming competitions in the form of call for entries. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
